Our Leadership Experience

Ashraf’s 38-year journey in Pakistan’s textile industry reads like a masterclass in innovation and resilience. From his first day on the factory floor in January 1988 to steering cutting-edge production lines today, his leadership has been defined by creativity, grit, and a relentless drive for excellence.

Establishing Excellence (Jan 1988 – Jan 2005)

At Home Furnisnings Limited (EPZ), Ashraf transformed a traditional workshop into a finely tuned export engine. He built multi-layered quality loops and batch-tracking systems that cut defects by double digits, all while nurturing the next generation of floor supervisors. “In the year 2003, When Anti-dumping duty was imposed in Pakistan at 17% White it was 0% in the case of exports from Banglasdesh, I frequently traveled to Bangladesh and rented a company in the Comilla exports processing zone Bangladesh to start from there.” i also installed Ten barudan Embroidery Machine Japense Brand and also installed Automatic Duvet Cover Plant from Texpa Germany.

Scaling New Heights (Feb 2005 – Jun 2014)

As COO of Lucky Tex Pakistan, he wove together digital cutting technologies with hands-on operator cross-training. This blend of tech and talent lifted fabric utilization byover 12% and set new benchmarks for on-time delivery.

Harnessing Data & Teamwork (Jun 2014 – Jun 2015)

At Gul Ahmed Textile Mills, Ashraf introduced real-time performance dashboards and reimagined maintenance schedules. The result? Machine downtime plummeted by one-fifth, and teams rallied around transparent, data-driven goals.

Cultivating Agility (Jul 2015 – Jul 2017)

Leading operations at Aziz Sons, he embedded lean-manufacturing principles from greige to finishing. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, he slashed lead times by nearly a fifth and empowered frontline staff to own their workflows.

Pioneering Sustainability (Aug 2017 – Mar 2021)

As COO of Mount Fuji Textile, Ashraf championed water-recovery systems and green finishing lines, earning ISO 14001 certification. His eco-efforts not only shrank the company’s environmental footprint but also unlocked cost savings that funded further innovation.

Blending Impact & Industry (Apr 2021 – Jun 2023)

At Aziz Tabba Foundation (Y.B. Group), he merged commercial savvy with social responsibility—scaling vocational training programs alongside core operations and ensuring every pound of profit fueled community uplift.

Charting Global Ambitions (Oct 2023 – Dec 2024)

As Chief Operating Officer at Supertouch Pvt. Ltd. from October 2023 to December 2024, Mr. Ashraf was tasked with scaling export volumes from 1.5 containers per month. Within his first month, he surpassed the assigned target of 4 containers, driving exports to over 8 containers monthly.

Renewable Energy Infrastructure

To power our growth sustainably, Ashraf & Sons is deploying two 50 MW systems—wind and solar—phased through 2026:

50 MW Wind Farm

•17 turbines x 3 MW each sited on the high-wind ridges around Nooriabad
•Integrated SCADA controls for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance
•Annual generation -180 CWh
o 3 MW (10.8 GWh) dedicated to our factory’s operations
o 97 MW (169.2 GWh) exported to WAPDA Nooriabad

50 MW Solar PV Field

• Single-axis tracking panels across 200 acres to capture maximum daylight
• Grid-tie inverters for smooth output; optional storage interface for peak shaving
• Annual production -100 GWh, cutting >70,000 tons CO2 emissions

Benefits & Timeline

•Energy Self-Reliance: In-house 3 MW supply covers factory needs; surplus supports the local grid.
•Cost Certainty: Long-term PPAs lock in below-market tariffs.
•ESC Leadership: Enhances our green credentials for global partners.
•Q2 2025: Complete site surveys, secure permits, award equipment contracts
•Q4 2025: Lay foundations, install turbines and solar racking
•Q1-Q2 2026: Connect modules, commission systems, synchronize with grid

This infrastructure not only powers our operations but also reinforces Ashraf & Sons’ commitment to a cleaner, more resilient energy future—both for us and for Nooriabad.

Production Expansion & Automation Roadmap

At Ashraf & Sons, our commitment to excellence drives us to continually enhance both capacity and capability. In partnership with leading Canadian and German equipment manufacturers, we’re rolling out a suite of highly automated production linesset to be fully operational by July 2026. This strategic investment will elevate output consistency, reduce lead times, and maintain our reputation for premium quality.

Key Automation Installations

• Dual Automatic Fabric-Processing Plants

Two end-to-end systems that handle everything from unwinding and inspection to automated cutting—ensuring precision nesting and minimal material waste.

• Duvet Cover Set Assembly Lines (Two)

Each line integrates programmable stitching stations with inline inspection cameras to guarantee perfect seams and color consistency across every set.

• Flat Sheet Manufacturing Units (Two)

High-speed looms coupled with digital pattern programmers will deliver flat and fitted sheets in a spectrum of thread counts, all with sub-1% tolerance on dimensions.

• Fitted Sheet Fabricators (Two)

Specialized machinery for elastic edge application and corner reinforcement, streamlining what was once a multi-step manual process.

• Pillowcase Production Cells (Two)

Automated folding, edge-stitching, and label-attachment stations designed for swift changeovers between sizes and fabric weights.

• Press, Fold & Pack Lines (Four)

Integrated steam-press tunnels, robotic folding arms, and intelligent packaging robots will handle up to 500 units per hour—uniformly folded, wrapped, and pallet-ready.

Timeline & Impact

• Q3 2025:

Finalize procurement of all weaving, processing, and packaging equipment; begin reconfiguration of the Nooriabad facility.

• Q4 2025:

Install and commission Canadian cutting looms and German stitching platforms, alongside initial dyeing/printing cells.

• Q1 2026:

Roll out comprehensive staff training on the new MES interfaces, maintenance protocols, and safety standards.

By July 2026: Have all six specialized production lines and four packaging cells fully operational, on track for our July 1, 2026 home-textile launch.
